USTCC Round 2 – Thunderhill Raceway Park

San Ramon, CA – Time to go racing again! Round 2 of the 2020 USTCC season is coming up at Thunderhill Raceway Park the weekend of August 1-2, 2020. Building on a strong showing across the classes competing in, RPM is looking forward to build upon the momentum and success from the season opener.

“I had so much fun racing at the season opener at Buttonwillow in the Touring Car (TC) class. Finishing second has only peaked my thirst to try and vie for that top podium spot... At Buttonwillow I was struggling with downforce as this new built race car didn’t have all the bells and whistles yet. For this round, we have made some changes. A front splitter and a large APR rear wing were added. This not only aide’s with downforce, but also gives the car a more menacing look…
To help with data analysis, data comparison and coaching the AIM MXG dashboard was installed. Additional, smaller changes should also help with improving the car. After all, it is still only the second time I race this car competitively.
I am eagerly awaiting the first practice session and to get going again so that we can start to fine-tune the car after all these changes.”
