Pun/Arsham Team Win at Sonoma 2.5 Hour

Sonoma, CA -- Gordon Pun scored a win at the Sonoma 2.5 hour race in the Touring Car class.

Sonoma, CA -- Gordon Pun scored a win at the Sonoma 2.5 hour race in the Touring Car class.


The race was full of ups and downs for Pun as he was driving the GoGoGear.com/Konig Wheels Hyundai Genesis. He fell behind in the early stages of the race as he was trying to save fuel. Once the fueling window opened and the team was sure that he has enough to finish the race, Pun stepped up the speed to try to catch the leader. He was getting close and was within striking distance when he spun the Hyundai at Turn 7. The team advised him to keep the pressure on and as luck would have it, the leader was having his own problems. "I was surprised when the team told me that I was suddenly in the lead," said Pun.


The team looks forward to the next race also at Sonoma.
