Second place for Ali Arsham Extends Points Lead

Sonoma, CA -- Ali Arsham finished second at round 2 at Sonoma to extend his championship lead.

Sonoma, CA -- Ali Arsham finished second at round 2 at Sonoma to extend his championship lead.


Arsham started from pole position in the GoGoGear.com/Konig Wheels Hyundai Genesis and lead the early stages but was soon caught and passed. "I knew my tires were getting old and I was trying to hang on to second place," said Arsham after the race. "I used up the tires and I knew I was going to be in trouble but the team did a great job and the pole position gave us an additional 5 championship points which is crucial," added Arsham.


Next up is a 2.5 hour endurance race that can test the durability of the driver and machine, only two weeks away.
