The Head-Turning Factory Five GTM Lands on the Podium

San Ramon, CA – He’s back and he brought a different car with him! Beau Borders has earned several wins and championships in a very unique Factory Five GTM in endurance racing. The car was built by Yvonne and Richard Migliori of the Prototype Development Group, and has had an all-star driver lineup over the years. Its rich racing history includes a Trans-Am Championship with Carl Rydquist and several USTCC GT Championships when driven by Mike Holland, the car’s new owner.

The car and driver performed very well from the get-go and attracted many visitors to the Red Panther Motorsport paddock. Lots of questions were asked and answered about the car. Truly one of a kind.

Beau drove very consistent and fast throughout the weekend. He kept the track announcers busy during the first race due to an epic battle with Rob Harper’s LS7 Corvette. He took third place in both championship rounds and set the fastest lap time of Saturday’s race.

It was a true pleasure for Red Panther Motorsport to have this car and crew under our tent, representing and driving for Red Panther Motorsport.

The car has always been an attention-getter, so I was honored to drive it during USTCC’s collaboration with the NTT IndyCar Series. We were able to let tons of fans get a close look at the GTM and share its wild story. Red Panther Motorsport gave us the most incredible support, and our Hankooks helped us earn the quickest lap of the race. I couldn’t ask for anything more!”
