Notably, Kim overtook nine other drivers while moving through the multi-class field and picked

up six seconds per lap between Qualifying and the race.

But the weekend was not without its challenges. “With the engine cutting out during practice and

a less-than-stellar start to the race, my main goal was to put in a solid drive to get to the

checkered flag,” said Kim. “Thanks to JB Autoworkz and the GoGoGear pit crew, by race time

the car was dialed in and allowed me to push harder. I couldn’t be happier with the result.”

USTCC Round 2 is scheduled for April 30 at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA. With the

racing season in full swing, the Touring Car class is expected to remain highly competitive with

every position to be hard-fought throughout the remainder of the season.
