Rob Harper – Post Race Statement

What a weekend! We battled some opening round technical, causing me to miss valuable track time on Saturday. Qualifying was mediocre and I managed only a P4 out of a 20 something car grid. I knew I had my work cut out with some very fast drivers around me. The start would be crucial and I perfectly managed the wheel spin for a blistering start, quickly moving into the lead. From there, it was ‘pedal to the metal’ building a lead that later in the race helped me manage an overheating LS7 engine. Ecstatic to have overcome adversities and winning overall as well as the GT class.

Red Panther Motorsport and its crew did a fantastic job all weekend and we rounded up a great team result with teammates Reto Baumann in ST and Gary Trudeau in TC both bringing home 2nd places.
