On Q Racing Makes it Two for Two at Round 2 of the East Series

June 06, 2022 (Millville, N.J.) – Andrew Conner, driving the #66 On Q Racing BMW E90 finished 1st in Round 2 of the Hankook Tires United States Touring Car Championship East Coast Series at New Jersey Motorsports Park’s (NJMP) Lightning Raceway.

On Q Racing was excited to return to NJMP. “NJMP is our home track, and we are confident in our chances of securing a win, The team worked hard between rounds to ensure the car would be well sorted and prepped in advance for this event” stated team owner/driver Andrew Conner.

Saturday qualifying was a late day event, and there were 7 sessions prior to the USTCC cars hitting the track, giving the team plenty of time to finalize the prep. “The plan is to go out and set a pace that ensures a solid qualifying time but does not hurt the car in advance of the Sunday feature race”, stated Andrew. “I could not be more impressed with the car, the team and these Hankook F200s”, Andrew stated during his post qual team debrief.

Sunday’s Feature saw On Q Racing starting 1st on the grid. At the drop of the green, the On Q Racing red E90 showed what home track advantage looks like, winning the race to turn 1 from Roger Meada in his green Honda Prelude and where it stayed until the checked fell. “This car was once again a rocket, and my team did a great job, my fellow competitors ran a clean race from flag to flag, excellent weekend had by all” were once again Andrew’s words as he headed to the podium.
