Milburns dominate at Thunderhill with a first and second

The United States Touring Car Championship kicked off this year at Thunder Hill Raceway park, and Milburn Motorsports came out to start their season off strong with Daniel Milburn running their Acura RSX-S, and Sean Milburn running their BMW E36 M3. It was raining during qualifying, which proved to be an advantage for Daniel Milburn, as he ended up taking pole position in Sportsman class. Sean Milburn was able to secure fourth position in Touring Car Class putting him second row.

The team had a fantastic race start, with Daniel Milburn taking second place off the line. Sean Milburn was able to make a tight squeeze along the wall after a fantastic launch to make it to the front, where he then ran away from the competition who was fighting behind him. Daniel Milburn ended up placing second, and Sean Milburn held onto his first place position until the checkered flag.

The team felt fantastic about their start to the season, and was able to bring their cars home with no problems throughout the weekend. They will plan and prepare for the next race weekend on May 25-26th, where they hope to have just as good of a weekend.
