Gordon Pun Grabs Second Place at Laguna Seca

Monterey, CA – Gordon Pun, driving the GoGoGear.com/Konig Wheels Hyundai Genesis Coupe, finished second in the United States Touring Car Championship race at Laguna Seca Raceway on August 1, 2021.

Ealy in the weekend Pun complained about the handling of the car so the crew decided to check the suspension thoroughly. After a complete inspection, they found that the rear toe adjustment had loosened changing the wheel alignment. After a full alignment, Pun was sent out for qualifying where he put the car in second place. Afterwards, he was very satisfied with the handling of the car and told the mechanics not to change a thing.

In the race, Pun had a great dice with his teammate and ended up finishing second place and is only a few points from first place in the championship.

The team next heads back to Laguna Seca Raceway in September for the biggest race of the year as they join IndyCar for the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey.
