GoGoGear.com Team Finish First and Second at Sonoma

Sonoma, CA – Ali Arsham grabbed second place at the Round 6 of the United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC) at Sonoma Raceway. Arsham did a great job of charging through the field to grab second place behind his teammate.
Arsham started in fourth place but managed to pass one car at Turn 2 on the first lap. He then went after the next car and made that pass at Turn 6 and just like that he was in second place. “I lost about 3 seconds trying to make the pass to grab second place and by that point my teammate was about 5 seconds ahead and we were both about the same speed so it became impossible to catch him” said Arsham. At that point in the race, it became a game of maintaining the gap between the cars. “I was watching the gap between the car behind me and it remained around 6 seconds throughout the race. Because of that, it was imperative that I keep my pace up and not have any mistakes,” added Arsham.
It was a very solid finish for the team that should carry them into the next season.
