GoGoGear #35 BMW places at P4 at Sonoma

Sonoma, CA (July 24, 2023) -- Famous for its intensely technical corners and razor-thin margins for error,
Sonoma Raceway hosted a hard-fought Round 3 of the United States Touring Car Championship. When
the dust settled, driver of the #35 BMW Seong Kim finished just shy of the podium in the Touring Car
class. Gary Sheehan, Larry Bani, and Daniel Rose placed first, second, and third, respectively.
Notably, Kim took home the Swift Springs Move of the Race Award, the Astro Tools award, and the
Plastex Top Rookie trophy for the weekend. He also celebrated the Top Team award with his GoGoGear
teammates. The finish safeguards Kim’s season ranking as second in championship points and first in
Rooke of the Year points. With less than half the season in the books, the points battle still rages on.
With Round 3 in the rear view, Kim looks forward to Round 4, which is also being hosted at Sonoma
Raceway. "The team and I feel good about how we're looking going into the next race. Thanks to the JB Autoworkz crew and continued support from sponsors like SPEC Clutch and Goka.xyz, all the ingredients for a successful season are here. It's all about focus and execution right now.
