Gary Trudeau – Post Race Statement

What a great day! I was able to drop my lap times significantly over the weekend and was upbeat for qualifying, grabbing the pole in my class. Never having done a standing start, I was a tad nervous for the race but managed to really get off the mark well. I had a great race. Just didn’t have enough in the car to reel in my competition, especially in the fast corners where I really felt the missing downforce not having an aero package on the car yet.

I am stoked about my return to USTCC and achieving a podium finish in my first race back with a brand-new car we built.
