Fred Snow Grabs Fourth Place in his Professional Debut
Sonoma, Ca – Fred Snow, driving the GoGoGear.com/Hella Hyundai Genesis Coupe, finished fourth in the United States Touring Car Championship race at Sonoma Raceway on May 30, 2021 in his professional racing debut.
Snow who had never driven the challenging Sonoma Raceway circuit had his hands full as he was trying to learn a new car and a new track in a very short amount of time. Once the green flag was dropped it was time to go as quickly as possible and pass some cars. “I really wanted to do well but I also wanted to be cautious and not make a rookie mistake. I had never done a standing start so that was a big challenge but I was glad that everything went well and was happy with a fourth,” said Snow.
Snow did very well as he worked with his coach all weekend long and was faster in every session. He looks forward to the next race at the difficult Laguna Seca Raceway in a couple of months.
