Fifth-Place Finish Caps Off Weekend at Sonoma Raceway in USTCC Round 2

The third race of the 2025 United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC) took place at the iconic Sonoma Raceway. Marion Engelke of Team Cobalt California secured a fifth-place finish in the Sportsman class this past weekend.

Competing against a field of seasoned drivers, Marion demonstrated both consistency and competitive spirit on the legendary road course in the #65 Gary’s Airbag Service (GAS) / Automotive Calibration Specialists (ACS) BMW E36.

“This track demands everything from a driver, precision, patience, and grit,” said Marion. “I’m proud of how well the car is performing, how the team came together, and how we kept pushing throughout the weekend.”

Sonoma’s sweeping turns and elevation changes created a challenging yet thrilling backdrop for the race, and Marion held steady under pressure, competing fiercely and holding position through a hard-fought race.

With this result, Marion continues eyes the season standings and is looking forward to the next event. “We’re not done yet,” she added. “This is just one more step in our journey.”
