In a dramatic finale to the 2025  U.S. Touring Car Championship (USTCC) season, Marion Engelke powered the #65 Gary’s Airbag Service (GAS) / Automotive Calibration Specialists (ACS) BMW E36 to a hard-fought third-place finish in the race—and third overall in the season standings. The sprint race at Sonoma Raceway delivered edge-of-your-seat action, with Marion chasing down second place in a neck-and-neck battle that ended just inches short of the line.

“It was one of the most intense finishes I’ve ever experienced,” Marion said. “We were wheel-to-wheel in the final stretch, and I gave it everything I had. To come away with third in the race and the season—it’s a result I’m proud of, and it reflects the heart this team brings to every lap.”

The weekend marked the culmination of a season built on grit, growth, and community. Marion’s performance was backed by the expert guidance of Ben Penn of Penn Kraft Racing, crew chief, spotter, and mechanic extraordinaire, whose precision and calm under pressure kept the #65 BMW dialed in for battle.

Marion extends deep gratitude to longtime sponsors Patricia and Gary Trudeau of Gary’s Airbag Service (GAS) and Automotive Calibration Specialists (ACS) for their support throughout the season. The team also proudly welcomed Expectus Inc. as a co-sponsor for the final three races, whose partnership helped fuel the final push to the podium.

Special thanks go out to Team Cobalt California for their camaraderie, support, and unwavering belief, and to Sonoma Raceway for hosting a thrilling and unforgettable season finale.

With the season now in the books, Marion and the team are already looking ahead—refining strategy, strengthening the car, and preparing to chase even bigger goals in the next chapter.
