Detroit Area Entrepreneur to Set New Guinness World Record

Veteran entrepreneur, advertising leader, and new US Touring Car Championship Racer Dr. Mark Young is planning to set a new Guinness World Record at Round 4 of the USTCC East Series on August 26-27.

Wampum, Pennsylvania - Veteran entrepreneur and advertising leader, Dr. Mark Young is scheduled to set a new Guinness World Record in auto racing this August. The new record will be for the “Oldest Professional Rookie Race Car Driver.”


Mark is a licensed competition driver under the rules of NASA (National Auto Sports Association) and is an MSA-level national certified race driver instructor.


Dr. Young will make his premier into professional auto racing with the USTCC (United States Tour Car championship) on August 26th, 27th, 2023 at the Pittsburg International Raceway in Wampum PA. USTCC is America’s longest-running touring car racing series, with events running coast to coast and broadcast on NBC Sports.


Mark Young is the Founder and CEO of several Detroit-based companies including Jekyll Hyde Labs Advertising, Pharmavision TV, Liberty Autosports, HKMY Real Estate Development, 2 and 2 broadcasting, and Anytime Fitness. Dr. Young is also active in and as an educator in the science of human longevity.

Mark will drive the number 02 Camaro from Liberty Autosports. Sponsored by Quaker State and Lube, Louis57 wines, and others.


When asked why he is doing this: “I want people to know that with the right nutrition, exercise, health care, and regenerative medicine, age is not a limiting factor in what you can accomplish.”


Dr. Young and his wife Summer are residents of Northville, Michigan.
