Sonoma, CA -- Ali Arsham had a slim 10 point lead going into the last round but he scored maximum points with a pole position and a win to secure the coveted 2025 Touring Car class championship.

Leading by 10 points was not a comfortable margin and Arsham, driving the GoGoGear.com/Konig Wheels Hyundai Genesis was in trouble in qualifying when after the first 3 laps, he was not quick enough to be on pole position. Everyone assumed that it was over but he found some speed on lap 4 and set the fast time with seconds to spare. That bonus 5 points for pole position was a welcome relief.

At the start of the race Arsham dropped to second place but kept the pressure on, knowing that he can still win the championship with a second place finish. It did not matter as he eventually made the pass for the lead into turn 11 and never looked back, controlling the race from there.
