Ali Arsham Wins at Buttonwillow

Buttonwillow, CA – Ali Arsham took a win at Round 4 of the United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC) race at Buttonwillow Raceway. Arsham started in third place in the Konig Wheels Hyundai Genesis Coupe and worked his way up to first place midway through the race.
At the start, Arsham got a great launch but was he was forced to drive off course to avoid hitting another competitor. That move avoided contact but lost him several positions. “At that point, I really dropped down and I feared that the race may be over but I kept pushing and the car felt great and I started to pass other cars,” said Arsham. Soon Arsham found himself behind the leader and made his move exiting the Phil Hill corner. “After I made the pass it was very important not to make any mistakes and just hold the lead ,” commented Arsham.
