Ali Arsham Rebounds to Finish Third in the Touring Car Class

Willows, CA – Ali Arsham managed to finish third at the round 2 of the United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC) race at Thunderhill Raceway. Arsham was driving the GoGoGear.com/Konig Wheels Hyundai Genesis Coupe and qualified fifth, missing the top three starting spot by 0.321 seconds. That did not seem to matter much since he used the grip of the Hankook racing tires to jump to second place by turn 2. “I was excited to get to second place but I was over cautious on lap one and I dropped back to fifth place by the end of lap one,” commented Arsham. He had to do it all again and managed to claw his way back to third place and was closing in on second place before time ran out. “I knew that I had a fast car for the race and I loved the hot temperatures. I was making up lots of time under braking as we selected the right Raybestos brake pad compound for the temperatures,” added Arsham.
