Rocket Battery and United States Touring Car Championship to Partner for 2023 season

Napa, CA – Rocket Battery has announced a partnership with the United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC) for the 2023 racing season to be the official automotive battery of the series. The big beneficiary of the program will be the competitors who will receive free batteries if they finish on the podium as well as discounts on purchases.

Rocket Battery is a premium brand of Korean battery manufacturer Sebang Global Battery which is one of the top 10 battery manufacturers in the world. The goal of Sebang Group’s corporate management includes energy, logistics, environment and social contribution projects to make people's lives more convenient and provide a better future. Sebang Global Battery is an OEM supplier to some of the top brands in the world such as BMW, Volkswagen, Hyundai, and Kia.

USTCC is a professional road racing series comprising of late model sport compact sedans such as BMW 3 series, Mazdaspeed 3, Audi R8, Chevrolet Corvette, Volkswagen Jetta, Hyundai Genesis Coupe, Honda Civic and others. The cars use slightly modified engines and highly modified suspensions with aerodynamic ground effects and sticky Hankook slick race tires.
