Patrick Chio Returns to Series and Dominates in Season Finale

Patrick Chio returned to USTCC competition and dominated the 2 hour season finale race at Thunderhill Raceway. Chio (CHN) and his teammate Gary Yeung (CHN) were driving the Speed SF Nissan 350Z and easily won the Touring Car class.

Viktor Czapla (GER) won the Super Touring class in the Cool Boxx Audi R8. The Audi's great gas mileage paid a big role in the victory over second place finisher Daniel Rose (USA) in the Rose Construction BMW M3.

Joshua Lion (USA) won the Sportsman class in the Lion Raisins BMW 330i over Brad Austin's TNI Racing Mazda MX5. Austin (USA) was leading most of the race but had to pit for fuel with one lap left in the race handing the win to Lion. Matthew Rivkin (USA) finished third in the Cool Boxx BMW 330i.

Rob Harper had mechanical issues but still managed to win the GT class in the P2i/Forgeline BMW 335i.

Adenna

Ken Kurtz drove an amazing race and finished in second place, winning the Adenna award.

Astro Tools

reto Baumann had a spin on the first lap but came back to finish third in Super Touring and won an assortment of tools from Astro Tools.

CRC

Freddie Macugay had technical issues but managed to finish fifth and win the CRC award.

CSF

Matthew Rivkin had a superb race and won the CSF award.

Curt

Curt products winner was Rob Harper with a win in GT class.

Dash Logic

Winning the dash logic award was Bob Accardo who was leading the GT class but had oveheating issues and finished second.

Hella

Daniel Rose won the Hella award with a second place finish in the Super Touring class.

Jabra

Winning the race and teh Jabra award was Patrick Chio.

Motul

The Motul award went to Brad Austin who was leading Sportsman for most of the race except the one that counted.

Perma Cool

The Perma Cool award winner was Fred Snow with a third place finish.

Plastex Top Rookie

The Plastex Top Rookie was Josh Lion with a win in the Sportsman class.

Raybestos

Josh Lion won teh Sportsman class i drmatic fashion and won the Raybestos award.

Red Camel Racing

Josh Lion was the winner of the Red Camel Racing award.

Red Line Oil Winners

The four class winners of the Red Line Oil award were Patrick Chio/Gary Yeung (TC), Rob Harper (GT), Josh Lion (SP), and Viktor Czapla (ST).

Red Line Oil

Wining teh Red Line Oil award and the GT class was Rob Harper.

Sampson Racing

the Sampson Racing award went to Ken Kurtz with a fantastic drive to finish second.

ScanGauge

Patrick Chio and Gary Yeung easily won the TC class and the Scan Gauge award.

Specialty Products Company

Bob Accardo won the Specilaty Products Company award with a second place finish in GT.

Stoptech

Gordon Pun finished fourth and took home the StopTech award.

Swift Springs

The Swift Springs award went to Matthew Rivkin who had a great race and finished third.

Turtle Wax

The Turtle Wax award went to Freddie Macugay with his brand new paint job.

Victor Racing

Viktor Czapla won the race and the Victor Racing award.

Top Team

With two second place finishes, TNI Racing won the Top Team award.

StopTech TC

The StopTech top finishers in TC were Ken Kurtz, Gary Yeung/Patrick Chio, and Fred Snow.

StopTech ST

The StopTech top finishers in ST were Daniel Rose, Viktor Czapla, and Reto Baumann.
