Sonoma, CA -- Round 2 of the United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC) West Region was won by Greg Laube's SpeedOne Motorsports Audi RS3 LMS at Sonoma Raceway on May 24, 2026.

Familiar faces were at the front of the grid but that does not mean that things were quiet. Ali Arsham qualified on pole position in the TC class with the Konig Wheels Hyundai Genesis and lead the opening few laps but Larry Bani's BMW M3 caught up and passed him after some very aggressive fighting. Arsham finished second while Tim Hunter's VT Racing Volvo C30R had a spin that cost him and resulted in a third place finish.

Reza Arsham qualified on pole position in the Sportsman class in the K24 powered Konig Wheels Honda Civic and was ahead of Andy Chittum's Mazda MX5. Andy took the early lead but Reza soon passed Andy and started to pull away setting a lap record in the process.

Enrique Ferreira continued his great run with another win driving the GoGoGear.com/Konig Wheels BMW 328i E90 Cup car.

Ken Kurtz stayed with the BAF Racing Ford Mustang and grabbed the pole position in GT ahead of his teammate Andrew Reed in the other BAF Racing Ford Mustang. Their lead was short lived as Greg Laube in the SpeedOne Motorsports Audi RS3 took the win ahead of Mickey Miller's BeachRock BMW M3. Kurtz finished third. Miller had the lead in the GT class for a few laps but Laube kept the pressure on and eventually passed the M3 and never looked back.

Things don't get much easier as Round 3 in the first endurance race of the season with a 2.5 hour race at Sonoma.
