July 20, 2025 (Summit Point, W.V.) – The United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC) East returned to Summit Point Motorsports Park for Round 3 of the East series.

Anthony Piselli, Dan Szwarc, Brandon Lewis, Roger Meada, Andrew Conner, Mike Mclaughlin, and newcomer Patryk Tararuj were in attendance.

The weather was less than stellar, Hazy, hot, and humid with periods of heavy rain, making for a tricky setup selection as well as less-than-optimum track conditions.

Anthony Piselli in his Subaru WRX and Patryk Tararuj in his Subaru BRZ put on quite a show for the fans in attendance, each driver showing why US Touring Car Championship events are always entertaining.  Both drivers were well ahead of their nearest competition. Roger Meada was able to keep Patryk in his sights until a suspected throttle position sensor failure forced him to retire after only 8 laps. Dan Szwarc in his 370Z was running mid-pack and able to cross the finish line, claiming a second-place podium spot in SP.  Both Brandon Lewis and Andrew Conner were unable to start, but provided both paddock help and strategy tips to their fellow competitors.

As each team heads home, they each have their own set of issues to sort out and adjustments to make before Round 4 at PittRace
