Entry list Continues to Grow for Phoenix USTCC RaceMay 16, 2005 / Los Angeles, CA / C & R Promotions / The NASA Sanctioned 2005 Hankook United States Touring Car fields are breaking records at every track they race. "The number of entries continues to grow at the USTCC races," said Robert Porter, Public Relation Director for the USTCC. "Every race breaks a record, it just proves that our formula of racing is what everyone wants to see." The next stop for the USTCC is the world-famous Phoenix International Raceway. Phoenix has hosted all of the major US racing series including NASCAR, the IRL, and Champ Car. "We are fortunate to be racing at such a prestigious track," said Porter. "All of the major professional racing series compete here, because the track is challenging and it offers the right amount of long high speed straights with precise corners for exciting racing." As the USTCC entered into its 5th year, many dramatic changes were implemented to increase both the competition on the track, as well as the promotions off. "With new sponsors, prestigious racetracks, a first-class website and more cars than we’ve ever had, I couldn’t be happier with the growth of the series! Said Ali Arsham, USTCC Series Director. "The competition level has certainly increased this year, all of the drivers are pleased with the changes we’ve implemented and at Phoenix, four new cars will be debuting with the series." continued Arsham. Dave Balingit, the USTCC series Chief Stewart says "Even though we are pretty happy with the tight 1-2-3 finish at California Speedway, we've made a few adjustments that should bring that second pack into the mix. I expect to see a five to six car battle for the lead." Even more proof that the formula for is on target, the USTCC cars were invited to race at the inaugural San Jose Grand Prix July 29th- 31st with the Bridgestone Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford.
