The Bergman Companies' Mini Cooper S Makes Appearance

July 01, 2005 / Irwindale, CA - The Bergman Companies' MINI Cooper S, campaigned by MINIdeck Motorsports in the 2005 Hankook Tires U.S Touring Car Championship made an appearance at the Southern California MINI Maniacs, "Night at the Races" at Irwindale Speedway on June 25, 2005. Over 40 MINI's were on display in the exclusive Chalet display area. Seating 6,500 enthusiastic race fans, Irwindale Speedway boasts an excellent venue to watch and promote motorsports in Southern California.

Rich Peterson and Grace Peterson were on hand from 3:30pm until 10:30pm to answer questions about the U.S. Touring Car Championship series. Fans of speedway racing were interested in the car and the upcoming San Jose Grand Prix race. Several people asked about specific sponsors whose logos adorn the black MINI. "The logos really stand out on this car", said driver and owner Rich Peterson. "They wanted to know about companies they'd heard about and those they weren't familiar with. It was a great chance to spotlight USTCC and our sponsors."
